Visions has this Proscan 55″ 4K 60Hz this week for $348 with free shipping, or $14 off if you order online for in store pick up. Similar to the RCA, Haier, 4K’s sold elsewhere. As with most of them, and a lot of flat screens the sound is not their strong suit.
As always use a credit card with warranty extension privileges for the purchase for a second year of coverage, or use Visions extended warranty which isn’t too bad. For this TV, $100 for 5 years and if not used during the term you get 100% credit for the warranty against another Visions purchase, up to 50% of the new purchase price. Be warned Visions only gives 15 days for no question returns for refund, but 30 days return for exchanges or upgrades.
